How do medicine plans and procedure plans differ in cost?
The two kinds of plan spend money in different ways. Medicines are a steady monthly cost that continues for as long as you use them, because their benefit lasts only while they are taken. Procedures cost more at the start, as a course of several sessions, and then less often for maintenance if they help.
To compare plans fairly, ask for the cost of the first six months and of one year, including follow-up visits. Six months is roughly when a new treatment can be judged, as explained in hair loss medicines.
What changes the price of a scalp PRP course?
- The number of sessions in the first course, and how far apart they are.
- The size of the area treated, which changes the volume prepared.
- The preparation kit and method the clinic uses.

Does insurance cover hair loss treatment for visitors?
Visitors without Korean National Health Insurance pay the clinic’s fees directly. If you plan to claim from a travel or home insurer, check your policy before the visit, because cover for hair loss treatment varies. Ask the clinic for an itemised receipt (영수증, yeongsujeung) and a short diagnosis note in English; keep the pharmacy receipt as well.
How can I avoid paying for treatments I do not need?
